Corona lockdown in China: How are the expatriates?

For the past one and a half months, pneumonia caused by new coronary virus has been rampant throughout the world, including China. About 3,000 people are affected and 25,000 are in the list of suspects. Until the last news, more than 4 died but returned home after being completely healed. I live in Tianjin. About 120 km away from here. There are 5 suspects in my state and 5 people who have been affected.

As a result, our own announcements are effective in our state-

1. All office-schools are closed indefinitely

2. It is prohibited to go out without a mask

3. To provide a free mask by the authorities; It has not yet arrived

4. The hands, face, clothes should be kept clean after returning from outside

5. Vegetables and foods should be washed a few times before cooking and cooking them through boiling properly.

6. Every morning at 9am, the temperature is measured by visiting the office of the next building

7. Those who are in school, need to apply before going out

8. It is prohibited for those outside the school, such as in the country or in other states, to attend their school

9. Often requested to close the door windows

10. In case of any other problem, the authorities should be informed immediately.

So, we ourselves have taken some measures. For example:

1. I brought a facial mask from the school lab with the permission of the teacher because it is difficult to get to the market and online supply is not coming on time

2. Free 25 packet of noodles is given from Muslim canteen in our school. Since my wife is also a student, I received that packet. It is seen that some other universities also distributed food.

3. With the number of one of the nearest vegetable shopkeepers, we gave him a car to order different vegetables and fruits. Though the price seems a bit high.

4. Measuring very carefully so that the food goes on for longer time duration. The rest is in trust on Allah.

5. Not getting out from the house unless any necessity arises. For example, we bring water to the laboratory through a water filter. The building of drinking water pump will remain closed till March for school vacation.

On the other hand, I heard that 312 Bangladeshi people from Wuhan were taken under close observation in the Haji camp in Bangladesh for 14 days. There are also problems i.e. dissatisfaction and ill-management. Nevertheless, I think that as a Bangladeshi government, the government has done its best in this corrupted market.

It's snowing today. All the germs from the wind fell to the ground. Maybe I'll get some air for a while. I opened the window. A little snow is falling. Thinking, will I leave China? Or we will leave the country? As the number of people in our city increases, our anxiety increases. Yesterday, I heard that 3 chickens died of bird flu in central China. Now the people will be afraid to eat chicken. Although they have said that the coroner's antidepressant may come within 6 months, if the situation is worse in front, therefore, if the shops are closed, I will not be able to return to the country if the airport is closed. Airline fares (at least Tk 5,000) towards public increase. Nevertheless, I keep myself deterministic with hope, thinking that:

“So when you hear about a plague, such as plague in a city, don't go there. And if the disease appears in an area and you stay there, don't run away. "

[Bukhari 3473, Muslim: 2218]
